FLOATING ISLAND GENERATOR [BLENDER 4+]

Use with Blender 4 and newer versions.

This is a geometry nodes modifier that lets you procedurally draw floating islands with a curve.

This setup can get very complex and slow down performance fast so i've separated the instance controls for the render and the viewport, that way you can have very little instances in the viewport for higher performance when building your scene and lots of instances in the render to achieve a richer and more realistic look. There is also a camera culling option that will further optimize the scene especially in the render phase.

I've added remeshing options that will greatly increase the detail of the meshes, by default it will be remeshed only in the Render.

I've added tooltips to most of the parameters so if you hover over them you can see some additional details.

There are around 71 parameters you can play with to get lots of unique looks.

!!!Make sure you're using the blender version that has the "new volume nodes" option enabled in the experimental panel in the preferences menu!!!

The remesh parameter relies on the new SDF volume nodes!
